AD home fashion

A & D home fashion is a distribution company which specialises in interior textiles and decoration (wholesale products).

Business Manager, Mr Devroe Arnold, had been looking for a good business, where he could make good use of his creativity and talent for textiles, for several years. In 1996 his eye fell on the wholesale painting accessories and interior textiles of the Soubry brothers in Courtrai. He held meetings with the then employees - there were four at the time - to resolve the problems and get rid of the products that were no longer profitable.A totally new path was taken as creativity and organisation were the main objectives for the new management. This led to the decision to focus more on the interior sector with a completely new line of products, and a completely new logistics system was worked out.

A completely new line of interior textiles was introduced to the market that enabled the retail trade to bring a fashionable and competitive program onto the market.

This became a very wide range of finished products with a top commercial style.

After about three years, a new partner in Asia was sought to expand the product lines further and bring a completely new and more exclusive range onto the market for wholesale distribution, with a full assortment of collections for the various buyers.

In 2004 a new location in Dottignies was chosen, with the intention of having a bigger stock to meet the demands of growth better and, with their new location on the border of Flanders/Walloon and France, A&D home fashion also has more possibilities for distribution and expansions.

The new company is situated on 10,000 m<= of land with a 6,000 m<= building of offices and a warehouse.The company is currently active in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Great Britain and Ireland. The main focus is on exporting to these important markets and the expectations are promising.

A&D home fashion is still the market leader in its niche in Belgium and France and still wants to expand into Europe further.
